hello hello! :)

wow i realised i haven't been back here for a long time :) just thought it would be nice to have somewhere to write down stuff so that i can read back when i grow olddddd :P

2010 is coming to an end in 2 weeks and Christmas is coming in a week!! can you feel the Christmas atmosphere in the air? i certainly can! all the gatherings, the Christmas lighting and not to forget Christmas shopping!! wow i really really love Christmas :)

Met alot of old friends recently and i'm truly thankful despite not meeting up for ages, we are still as tight and we've made plans to meet up more frequently! :)

haha so cheapo i know, but i'm so glad for free stuff!! and i've got one whole tiramisu cake sitting in the fridge now! i'm just thinking when should i eat it hehe :)

and i wore what i wore to sleep to holland v just now with toothpaste stain on my shirt. was so embarrassed i was trying to get out of holland v asap!! zzz....never again! next time i'll wear a dress or something nicer there haha.

Having 9 days in between my second last paper and final paper is not doing me any good. hurrhurr. for 3 days consecutively, i slept for at least 10 hours on average. so as to make myself more determined to start studying for my last paper, i've decided to drag meself to the school library but i'm even more tired than usual.

so i was checking out air tickets to korea and i was shocked when i saw from the website that taking Garuda is actually more expensive than taking SIA. haha i was like huhhh how can this be man!! nvm, i shall continue with my search for even cheaper air tickets. so it's 17 days to tw and i'm really excited. all the glorious food i cannot wait!!

but for now, i need to concentrate and resume my duty as a part time mugger. bye!!

anyway, mr jc lim decided to drop by my house today with the biggest CHICKEN DRUMSTICK i've ever seen haha. cool man. even though it was only 15 mins, but yeah still made my night :D

okok i think old town coffee beats all the other brands of coffee out there in the market. wah nice coffee they have.

it's 1am and my books are calling out to me again. I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!

i think the day when a child is able to say to his/her parents to not worry for them is a day that a parent should feel truly joyful and proud of. It brought tears of joy to my eyes to see my little brother growing up, now a real man :)

this is too funny not to blog. hahaha my brother ahhh.....he has never really bought 4D before but dunno why suddenly two weekends ago, he just went to buy. so he picked the no. 4711. and tadahhhh....3rd prize for that weekend was 7411. and my dad just told me that 3rd prize for last weekend was 4411.

my maid's leaving today. mixed feelings though cuz i'm not close to her at all. probably when she first came to our house when my grandma was still around but def not now. but still, she has been with us for almost 3-4 years so just to remember it, i'm writing it down hehh.

hello hello!

i;m feeling very FAT recently cuz i ate 3 steamboats in a week! but it was all so so super yumsss! and the one ben brought us to at Chinatown had such great sauce, now i'm bugging him to bring me there again haha ;P

My Cny was pretty alright :) didn't really celebrate cuz of my grandma's passing last year and according to tradition, you can't celebrate for a year so this year's cny was pretty much spent at home mugging for prelims and watching tvee. kudos to starhub for showing ALL the channels during the CNY period and i got to catch so many movies. especially nick and norah's infinite playlist, which was gooood!!

Made a trip down to the river angbao on chu yi and it was such a nice experience as compared to the previous years. maybe this year cuz the place was bigger and the ground was more solid? hehh. didn't get to try the dan dan mian though cuz i was super full already and now it;s closed! grrr. i was still planning to go down again. ohh well

and met my favourite crescentians on sat for some steamboat loving and heart to heart talk. thanks girls! thanks for letting me know that you've got my back. i heart my favourtie girls! we must catch up soon again alright? :)

okay gtg now. i think both jc and i, we're both really boring pple because we always do the same old stuff and eat at the same old places. hehhehhh ;) have a great week ahead!!

Happiest birthday my two dearest friends who just turned older by one year ! no more 2-1 already. most of us are gonna graduate this year and i'm really excited to see what's going to come our way. we were talking about what we were going to do with our first pay and that got us pretty excited haha. and woots our smart friend zm got a job in one of the big 4 acc firms in spore! really happy for her :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! it's 2010 :)

looking back at 2009, i must say it's still a good year despite the many downs. i still miss my grandma sometimes when my mum talks about her but in the end we know that she's in a happier place now. She's not gone, she lives in my memories forever.

made an effort to stay close and connected to my parents and bro. because we don't usually see each other much, dinnertime with the family are really treasured. i'm excited for 2010 because we have made plans to go traveling!! hehe quality time with my parents, me likes :)

2009 was not an easy time for the both of us. Many arguments, disagreements and quarrels. quite scary. i know 2010 won't be any easier on us, might be tougher in fact but i know that things will be fine in the end. :)

2009, i grew closer and drifted apart from different friends. it's sad that we drifted but come 2010, i'll put in more effort to be a better friend :))

yep it's a brand new year and with it comes new things. 2010 i want to learn to cherish, be contented and grow closer in my walk with God. oh and go traveling and believing God for a good job hehheh :) i'm going to graduate in 6 more months and that's really wayyy toooo fasttt!

one of the best decision i have made before the year ends is to go back to using SKII. am loving every drop of it on my face :) so so good!

all the late nights are taking a toll on my skin!! nooo! it's quite scary if you have a mum who scrutinises you skin so up close, you feel like your pores can't breathe! boo! and her beautician talks more than me so i'm abit worried about paying her a visit hehh.

so my teeth aren't doing very well too according to her. need to do something about it!

just some random thoughts running in my head so i shall write it down before i forget. been pondering for a few days now on what it takes to make one truly truly happy. i've been thinking and wondering for a pretty long time now. when i was a kid, even though i couldn't eat peanuts cos i had asthma but just smelling the tin that stored peanuts would really make me happy. when i grew older, my mum banned us from eating sweets so i would divide one mentos into 6 parts and eat it throughout the day. i remember the first movie i ever watched was lion king and i was sosososo excited before the movie i couldn't sleep the previous night and ended up falling asleep in the cinema halfway through the movie. then in primary school, i did well in class so my teacher promised that she would give me "something special " in class on friday and i was so excited i waited and waited for 3 fridays but she forgot. i was so disappointed i never trusted the teacher again. and on the 4th friday, she finally called my name out in class and passed me a box of fruit erasers. i kept it and didn't used it for many years. just like my hello kitty journal, my friend gave it to me in p3 just because i said i really like it. it's still kept it my drawer and its one of the few items that i really cherish.

but now, it feels like nothing truly makes me happy. maybe its because we own so many things now, eat all sorts of peanuts and sweets like nobody's business, don't use erasers now and no longer write in a paper journal. now that i'm 21, i feel that i want more and more and moreeeee. i thought owning them would make me happier. more cosmetics, more clothes, more accessories, more friends, more bags, more shoes more money...more everything else. but i'm only happy in that instant. then i put them away in some random place in my room and totally forget about their existence. probably also applies to love. so tiring to always want more and more . will always remember what a good friend said to me one day when i was crying like a baby over the phone. that love is something strange and so hard to comprehend. just because the other party doesn't love us the way we want them to doesn't mean they don't love us with all their heart. so hard to understand then but i understand it now.

miss the times when we said we would be friends forever and ever. times when we sat at the playground and bawled our eyes out because we were sad that things were not going good for us at all but still had to put up a happy front. feels like it was only yesterday.

funny how a conversation over family dinner, a bag of accessories i bought 2 years ago but only chanced upon them today and the cold weather made me waste 2 hours on this. my mum is fuming mad hahaha

looking at my colleagues celebrating hari raya makes ponder! i like how her, her mum and her mother-in-law came together to whip up so many yummy dishes for everybody ! that is the true meaning of festive season isn't it? to be able to spread the joy to other people. i want to be able to spread joy to the people around me too but first i got to be filled with His joy and love in my heart :)

i'm cold and hungry! eating bread for lunch everyday is making me crave for something yummier ,more delicious and pipping hot! yumm!

since it was jc's first day in school on monday after a looong while, we went down for yum cha at chinatown . yeah i love yum cha and their pipping hot dim sums. not to forget their desserts!

went for department dinner last week at ramen-ten. haha it was my boss treat so we just ordered whatever we wanted without a care for the final bill lol. their green tea soda was quite nice, it's like drinking melted greentea ice cream. over ordered and the bill came up to bout 300 bucks for 11 pple. hmm quite ok i guess. but i still prefer sushi tei!! :)

rex's birthday yesterday! HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY! bought him a tiramisu cake! quite yumm. and i'm happy that he liked the earphones we bought for him. since he spoils his earphones like every half a year, we bought him one that has 2 year warranty haha so he can get it repaired instead of always taking mine >.< haha!

last week i was out of hair conditioner i said a small prayer in the bathroom that somehow i'll get more conditioner. today i have a grand total of 4 cuz my mum thought they were shampoo. :( for the family but :))) for me !

kl/genting was greaaattttt i should make travelling my life ! i would probably have to survive on grass and water then. eat pray love has such great humor i like!

i love bread with tomatoes and egg and cheese. esp those specially prepared by my mum! always feel so touched and blessed after i finish eating lol. think the last time she prepared food for me to bring outside for lunch/breakfast was in primary school but at that time, i threw it away cuz all my friends bought food from outside and i wanted to be like them too lol. in the evening on the way home, my mum would always check my lunch box to see if i've eaten the bread/fried rice/bee hoon and i would show it to her but deep inside me, i felt quite guilty cuz she woke up earlier just to ensure i won't get hungry and i fed the food she prepared to the dustbin and till today she still doesn't know hehhh! so bottomline is, always cherish the people around us cuz one day they might not be here anymore!

office seems so cold today! partly cuz it's raining outside now, another part due to the long break ahead yeahh! a few of them are on leave and won't be back till next tues so office really seems quiet too. ahhh long break ahead i can't wait and when i come back it would be yaz's farewell dinner and all the birthdays for the aug babies :) time to roll up my sleeves and bake again haha!

what an eventful morning! i missed the company bus by 10s so i had to take the public bus in and after a long trip with many turns, it headed back to the checkpoint(!!) and then i realise oh this bus doesn't go to the company. crossed over and waited for another bus and wasted another 20mins and finally the bus came! haha right bus this time and thank God for my colleauge who saw me when i alighted from the bus and she sent me in! if not it could have been a 15 min walk under the hot sun! reached the office one hour late (!!) walked to another building and suddenly there was such strong gust of wind! smiled to myself because i saw the sea and its only a few metres away from me. closed my eys and continued to walk the rest of the road. felt really wonderful to have the wind blow at your face and hair with your eyes closed. i could have mistaken myself for being by the beach, sleeping lol. and now after eating the tiramisu jc bought for me for lunch, i feel like sleeping even more becuase the vodka taste is so stong in this one!

sometimes i feel so down and negative about everything happening around me, it's as if everything has nothing to do with me and my heart feels cold and heavy. scarry. but my hiding place inside the pantry and you always do the trick of lifting me up again ;) a huge THANKS!

it's friday! yeah!! :) weekends are almost here ! there's something special about friday. the people in the office feels happier, they talk to one another about random stuff more, they come in jeans and a simple top, go out for a longer lunch break..the atmosphere just feels less tensed. it's like tmr's christmas day and everybody is just happy! i love fridays too!! it's hard to get up in the morning on the other weekdays but on fridays i open my eyes and smile and go yeahh and prepare to go for work. nothing can/will spoil my absolute good mood hehe :)

2 more hours to end of work!! then it's off to cg ;) always something to look forward to on fridays! that's why i love fridays with all my heart soul and mind. everyday should be a friday !! :)

as i was helping to refill the milo tray in the pantry, i realise that the amount of drinks i drink everyday is just scary. 2 packets of milo, 1 packet of coffee and 1 packet of green tea. no wonder i have to refill it so often lol.

i've got nothing to do in the office today!! i've tried to do everything as slowwww assss posssibbbleeee but still i finish before 5! ahh why does time crawls when you've got absolutely nothing to do! good thing the company didn't block blogspot or livejournal but they blocked youtube and fb!! oh well....one thing i like about working in Jurong island is that you don't have to do OT hahaha that's great for me! cuz it's like if you miss the company bus at a certain time the next bus will come in only like an hour later ahhh that's just crazy ok! the people here are really nice and genuine haha even my boss! he's really such a nice and softspoken guy. speaking about bosses, i seldom see the big boss of this level arnd even though his office is just right infront of my cubicle. everyday he comes in for 1hour max and he's gone either somewhere else or outside playing golf! ahhh the life of being a boss, you get to come and go at your own timings! good ahh! anyway that's not the point. because he's the boss and also because of his irregular timing of coming in and out, i've got many people from different levels calling my desk phone to ask me if he's in what time will he be back if he came in today if he's back pls call them they got urgent documents for him to sign and it's very URGENT and WHEN WILL HE BE BACK!! wish i could ans their qns but i really dun know too haha but he's a not bad person la just that he likes to come from behind and suddenly say something random to me and that scares me all the time!

feeling sleepy and tired and i think i'm gonna be down with a sorethroat and slight fever soon sighh..

this week is gonna be great cuz yesterday's session with Dr A R Bernard was just WOAHHHH and also because i took leave on friday so my work week officially ends tmr hehe and meeting risss for steamboat hopefully and shingggg on friday! shing i'm gonna shhhhhh and press my hands on my mouth from now on so haha ok i'll be faithful in the small things first pls have something small happen in your life..why everything so big haha!!

anyway i'm working at jurong island now! it's basically not an island and no you dun have to take a boat to get there lol. But it's so heavily guarded i always feel like i'm going into some secret place and if you whip out your cameras/phones to take a picture, you will be shot. hurhur. but thank God for this job cuz finally my acc will be heavier and fatter, my resume will also look better hehe. so i must persevere!!!!! ;)

went to jurong island for an interview in the morning and woahh..it's like another part of s'pore i've never seen before. so much steel and metal stuff. and the security is really really tight there and there's security guards everywhere!

& somebody stole my old bicycle . hmm who would want to steal a bicycle that's close to 10 years old and has rust all over. gotta walk around with my bro to search for the bicycle laterr.

and yesterday while i was topping up my ez-link card, i put the cash card instead of atm card inside. no wonder i couldn't top up my card !!

life is great! just abit tiring though. i feel like sleeping most of the time =/

i am such a procrastinator sometimes! hehh! and the sky looks dark again. how come it rains at around 3 to 4 plus everyday?! weird!! recently i've been down with flu and cough and the saddest thing is that i was quite sick during easter period =X. yeah but thank God i'm almost well now after one week of popping pills and swallowing liquid medicine that made me drowsy!

the other day when i was at the school bus stop at bout 4 plus, it started raining cats and dogs and elephants. We had very wet shoes for the day because the water level rose above ankle level =X ahh well. next time i shall camp in school till the rain goes away haha!

Easter this year was great! even though i felt my head spinning, i had fun watching the drama on friday at jw :) But it wasn't till sunday when i went for the expo service did i really paid attention to the sermon! had Eio's farewell lunch at Aston! Bye Bye w506 will miss you dearly! can't post pictures because he wanted to keep how he looked with his head shaved a secret till he books out so haha ahh well :)

i have a habit of clearing my room or rearranging all my photos in order on my computer when i'm not feeling too good! Somehow, the throwing away of old textbooks/worksheets or just anything random that is no longer of any use makes me feel organised. every year without fail, during exams period, i will clear and pack my room and table umpteen times. To me, packing and filing my notes and books also equals to filing and catogorising my thoughts. Recently, my thoughts are very jumbled up and i find myself thinking more in depth. and sometimes i think and think my mind cannot stop thinking!! hmm prob it's fatigue setting in. But what i'm feeling now will all be better one day, like the thunderstorm outside now. like what the poster beside my bed says, if you want to see the rainbow, you got to first embrace the storm. how true! :) ok going to bathe and head to school now! take care yep! :)

6) get my voice back ( P1 kids are oh so adorable but also oh so very noisy )
7) go learn a new skill like scrapbooking/cooking/photography/ baking

sometimes when you are stuck in a certain issue, you feel bad and you feel like telling but nope you can't cuz of certain obligations and all and ahh yes i'm not good with secrets cuz i say them out very easily if i get too excited or happy! :(
